Drew Jensen, CPA, obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Idaho and his Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from Colorado State University. Drew brings more than 10 years of experience developing and implementing financial systems, strategies, processes, and controls that significantly improve P&L scenarios. He is an expert at establishing accounting functions, systems, and best practices; cost-reduction, automation, and tax strategies; and lasting business relationships to ensure goal-surpassing fiscal performance.

Drew began his career at Jitasa in Boise, ID, where he worked exclusively with nonprofit organizations, supporting their financial reporting needs. He later joined a local CPA firm in Washington, focusing on small businesses, strategic planning, and leveraging technology to streamline client processes. This foundation led to a role with the San Diego Padres, where he oversaw the annual budgeting and planning process across more than 20 departments. Drew has since worked in a consulting capacity for multiple tech and SaaS startups—providing financial reporting and forecasting support, guiding companies through fundraising rounds, and leading several successful acquisitions with a smooth due diligence process.

Drew enjoys helping clients grow their businesses and is passionate about finding strategies to help them achieve their organizational goals. He has experience in various industries and states both in private and public accounting.

Drew currently serves as a Controller for a SaaS company approaching $100M in ARR, where he leads financial reporting and strategic planning. He now lives in Idaho with his family and enjoys playing sports, spending time outdoors, and planning their next travel adventure—both near and far.
